At First United Methodist Church of Mesa, we believe that faith comes alive through service, connection, and love in action. Our ministries and outreach programs are designed to serve our church family and the broader community, meeting spiritual, emotional, and physical needs.

From worship and discipleship programs to outreach initiatives like our clothing closet, food boxes, and cooling center, our church is a hub of support, love, and hope.

Friends@First Mesa provides a cooldown room, showers, blessing bags and access to the clothing closet for adults in need. These services are located at the Outreach Center on the southeast corner of the main parking lot.
The clothing closet is available on Mondays and Thursdays from noon to 3 pm. Adults may choose 5 different items from the current selection including various clothing items and shoes.

Ugly Quilts meets seasonally October through April on Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the Outreach Center to sew sleeping bags for unsheltered people in the community.
Youth are able to participate in various activities community service projects including assembling Blessing Bags.
We offer both Adult and Children's Choirs and Bell Choir.
Bell Choir is on Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:45 PM in the Bell Room.
Adult Choir is on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Choir Room.
Children's Choir is on Sundays from 10:25 to 11:55 AM in the Choir Room.
We offer three different adult Sunday Schools:

Serendipity 2.0 in Room 2
Classes meet at 10:30 AM on Sundays
Bible Study meets on Wednesdays in the Assembly Room from 3:30 to 5:00 PM. All are Welcome to join!
