Ugly Quilts

Our “Ugly Quilt Group” is a team of dedicated volunteers who meet October through April to create handmade sleeping bags for people experiencing homelessness. Despite the name, these quilts are anything but ugly—they’re made with love, warmth, and care. Each one is unique, crafted from donated materials, and designed to offer comfort and protection to those sleeping outdoors.

How to Help: You don’t need to be a master sewer to participate! We welcome fabric donations, sewing assistance, and helping hands to assemble, roll, and deliver the quilts.
