Take It on Faith: Trusting God While We Wait
This Sunday, we continue our Take It on Faith series with a message from Dr. Parkes titled Faith as Endurance. Drawing from Hebrews 12:18–29, we’ll reflect on what it means to hold fast to God’s promises even in seasons of waiting. Rather than fear and trembling, God invites us into joy, confidence, and an unshakable hope.
Our worship will be filled with music that lifts our spirits and roots us in God’s presence, including the hymns The Church’s One Foundation and Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty! Our anthem, Come Flood This Heart of Mine, will feature guest violinist Olivia Breen, adding a special note of beauty to the morning.
Together, we’ll confess the ways we’ve been distracted, receive assurance of God’s grace, and be reminded of the true things that matter—love, hope, and faith that endures.
