This Sunday’s service, “Together We Can Change the World,” was a celebration of unity, purpose, and God’s call for us to live faithfully in community.
We gathered with music, prayer, and a call to worship that reminded us of why we come together: to know God, follow Christ, and be shaped by the Spirit. The congregation lifted their voices in hymns like “Lord, You Give the Great Commission” and “Bind Us Together,” affirming our mission to serve, forgive, and love with integrity and grace.
Sierra Cummins led the Children’s Moment, centering our youngest disciples in the joy of worship. The scripture reading from Philippians 3 reminded us to let go of what holds us back and press forward toward the life God has set before us.
Guest preacher Rock Robinson delivered a powerful sermon, “Looking Backward in Order to Live Forward,” encouraging us to reflect on the past with honesty while stepping boldly into the future God is calling us to embrace.
Together, we prayed for confidence and guidance to live unapologetically in love, to be change-makers in a world searching for hope. The service closed with a blessing to go forth in peace, bound together in Christ’s love, and a joyful postlude of “O Worship the King.”
As always, whether you remained in quiet prayer or stepped out to continue serving, we are grateful you chose to worship with us and be part of our church family.
