SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP
9:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary
This worship experience is both a traditional and contemporary
with music which includes congregational singing, the Chancel
Choir and periodic musical offerings by soloists and vocal
and instrumental ensembles.
Communion is also served in this service on the first Sunday
of the month.
11:11 a.m. in the Sanctuary
NOTE: This worship service will not be held during the summer starting on June 6th.
Second service worship will resume on September 12th.
This worship experience is both a traditional and contemporary

similar to the 9:00 a.m. service except that it is shorter
in duration ending at noon.

SPECIAL SERVICES
First Church of Mesa gathers for special worship services
several times a year.
Christmas Eve: Several services are offered throughout
the afternoon and evening, ending with a midnight candlelight
service.
Lent: Ash Wednesday services mark the beginning of
Lent. During Holy Week we celebrate Palm Sunday with the procession
of the palms. Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services are
held, with Easter morning culminating in an array of services,
starting at Sunrise in our courtyard and ending with an 11:11
a.m. service in our Sanctuary.
